A NEW ATLANTA HOUSEWIFE?

By Megan Gordon

Season two of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” barely ended before rumors swirled around who Bravo would cast as the next housewife. First, we heard Bravo was trying to get Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Foster and then actress Victoria Rowell. Now there maybe a new candidate being considered. A self-described “super sassy but always classy attorney” Phaedra Parks may be joining the wives. Parks’ storyline will likely focus on her new life as a newlywed.

Phaedra has practiced entertainment law for 10 years with a focus on litigation and contract negotiations. In addition to representing high-profile clients like Bobby Brown and Jermaine Dupri, Parks is a producer for BET’s “Tiny & Toya.” Phaedra even made appearances on the hit show.

Parks has neither confirmed nor denied joining the cast of RHOA, but season three is expected to start taping this March.

MTV REALITY STAR CHARGED WITH CHILD ABUSE

Cobb County Sheriff's Office

Today (Jan. 21), MTV reality star Markice Anthony Moore was released from jail on bond.  The 23-year-old was charged with cruelty to children after an investigation determined he abused his infant daughter.

Authorities said the child’s arms, wrists, right leg, right collar bone and three ribs were broken. The infant girl also had bruises to her face, eyes, ears, back, chest and rear after being with Moore on August 1.

Moore, who was released from Cobb County Jail on $20,000 bond, was known as “Kesan” on the first season of the MTV reality show “From G’s to Gents.” The show, which is hosted by Atlantan Fonsworth Bentley is to help transform misdirected young men into sophisticated gentleman. Moore was evicted from the house/club on Episode 5, because of anger problems and threatening his housemates with a knife.

Moore also had a role in the 2006 movie “ATL” and in a 2009 episode of Tyler Perry’s sitcom “Meet the Browns.”
